Snyder Granite Company. Since 1925.

Snyder Granite has been making monuments in Peckville, Pennsylvania since 1925. Bob Cicci took over the business in 2021 and carries the work forward from the same shop on 832 Main Street, for families across Lackawanna County and Northeastern PA.

Every monument is laid out with the family, cut and lettered in the shop, and set on the foundation by the Snyder Granite crew. When you call, Bob answers — the line is on whether the shop is open or not.

The company is BBB accredited. Outside the shop, Bob can usually be found at the bowling alley.

• Snowflake Gala

  Sponsor of the annual Snowflake Gala, run by the Archbald/Eynon Lions Club. Proceeds benefit Leader Dogs for the Blind.

• Friends of Phil Memorial Foundation

  Sponsor and volunteer. Snyder Granite built the Phillip D Jones memorial. The 2023 inaugural Youth Scholarship Golf Outing at Homestead raised $11,000 for the scholarship fund.

• Valley View Elementary

  Sponsor of the PBIS calendar raffle.

• Local youth sports

  Ongoing support for local softball, VVFB Cheer, and other youth teams across the area.

Holy Ghost Cemetery, Jessup. Reset 8 monuments that had been down for some time so families could visit properly again.

Phillip D Jones memorial. Designed and installed for the Friends of Phil Memorial Foundation.

Keeping current.

Bob attended the Mid-Atlantic Monument Builders Convention in Baltimore in January 2026 to review new designs, materials, and technology — including the Memorial Coin and QR-enabled monuments now on offer.
